PT Dahana welcomed the Islamic New Year, 1 Muharram 1448 H, by holding an event titled “Spirit of Movement: The Journey of Beginning – Move With Purpose” on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Auditorium of PT Dahana’s Head Office. The event, initiated by the PT Dahana Mosque Prosperity Council (MKM), featured the inspirational preacher Husein Ja’far Al Hadar, also known as Habib Ja’far, and was attended by management and employees as a moment of reflection and strengthening spiritual values as they embark on new journeys, both personally and professionally.
With the theme “Spirit of Movement: The Journey of Beginning – Move With Purpose,” this event encouraged all Dahana employees to use the new Hijri year as a starting point for positive change. The spirit of moving forward is not only interpreted as achieving company targets, but also as an effort to build character, integrity, and a more meaningful life purpose.
In his remarks, Mohamad Nur Sodiq, Director of Finance, Risk Management, and Human Resources at PT DAHANA, stated that the Islamic New Year is an important reminder for all company employees to continuously improve themselves and enhance the quality of their contributions to the company and society.
“The Islamic New Year teaches the meaning of hijrah, namely the courage to change for the better. In line with our theme, every step we take should have a clear purpose, provide benefits, and be part of the journey towards becoming a better person and a more advanced and competitive company,” said Mohamad Nur Sodiq.
Meanwhile, Irwan Ibrahim, Director of Technology and Development at PT Dahana, emphasized the importance of a spirit of renewal in facing the challenges and dynamics of the ever-evolving industry.
“The spirit of hijrah is also relevant in the world of work and innovation. Every change must begin with good intentions, the courage to take action, and a commitment to continuous development. With a clear purpose, we can create innovations that add value to the company and all stakeholders,” said Irwan Ibrahim.
In his sermon, Habib Ja’far encouraged participants to understand hijrah as a journey of self-transformation undertaken consistently and consciously. Through a message that resonated with the younger generation, he emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between worldly achievements and spiritual values in daily life.
